Greater Purpose Study Guide
A companion workbook for small groups and men's ministries, with weekly discussion plans and space for notes.
Books
Faith. Hope. Purpose. A book for anyone who is rebuilding and wants to know their story still counts.
Greater Purpose begins where most encouragement stops: in the middle of a season that did not go as planned. Damien writes about losing ground, questioning God, and finding that faith was not a feeling he had to manufacture but a decision he could make again each morning.
From there the book moves outward. It looks at the patience required in waiting seasons, the way pride keeps people from asking for help, the difference between being busy and being obedient, and what it looks like to serve other people while your own story is still unfinished.
It is written in plain language, with Scripture woven through rather than stacked at the end. Each chapter closes with a short reflection and one question, so it works just as well for a small group as it does for a quiet morning.
Reviews
I read it in two sittings. The chapter on waiting seasons put words to something I have felt for years and never been able to explain.

We used Greater Purpose for our men's group and the reflection questions carried the whole discussion. Nobody skipped a week.

Honest without being heavy. Damien tells the truth about hard seasons and still leaves you encouraged.
